An elderly Lady wanted a painting of the log cabin that she lived in after she was married. It was a log cabin built by her husband in the piney woods of East Texas. It had a split rail fence, hand hewn by her husband, around the house. No photographs existed of the home, but she was able to make a rough sketch from memory. From that sketch and her memory Gwen was able to produce a painting that warmed all our hearts.

A rancher wanted to present, in a fine oil painting, his first herd of prized cattle grazing on the ranch he had just purchased. Gwen went to his ranch, made sketches, took photographs of the cattle and some of the terrain features. First pencil sketches, then 5x7 inch proof paintings were done in oil for concept approval. Finally, two 30 x 36 inch oil paintings were presented which he is now displaying in his new home.

A retired Naval Officer wanted a painting of a battleship he had served on.
